He is responsible for the business operations, production, quality assurance, process planning etc in his role. He is the champion of innovation and always encourage our people to seek creative ways to engage with customers.
MR. M.R. CHENDILNATHAN is a visionary with over 4 Decades of Experience in Leadership roles. With his exposure to diversifying the business verticals, he is the reason behind the company’s multi-industry business expansion. Currently Mr.M.R.Chendilnathan is on the Board of 6 companies namely in the segments of Healthcare, Hospitality and Construction. His exposure in building strong network with government and investor relations portfolios, has helped the organization to navigate to 200% Growth in revenue year on year. Mr.M.R. Chendilnathan is now engaged on new Project initiatives, creating multi-faceted business verticals more focused in Hospitality and Healthcare, Precast and interior design and mines & minerals verticals.
Under the leadership of Mr.M.R. Chendilnathan, Vijay Raja Group is one among the first and oldest Backward Integrated companies in South India in the construction Industry. Mr.M R Chendilnathan is always conscious about quality and to ensure that he implemented backward integration and the raw material requirement for the construction is manufactured by the group companies. Vijay Raja Mines and Minerals division manufactures quality M sand, P Sand and Filler Sand through fully automated Vertical Shaft Impactor technology an same is used for the Vijay Raja projects. Similarly, Vrist – interior designs company of Vijay Raja group manufactures high quality and durable doors, windows and interiors cabins for the functional and aesthetic look of home and business premises. We also established Vijay Raja Pre cast concrete to manufacture AAC (Autoclaved aerated concrete) blocks that is a perfect substitute for the traditional bricks.

Vijay Raja is a legacy standing tall for more than 7 decades as a leading business group. The foundation for this 70 years legacy was laid by Shri.M.Rajapandiyan under the name ‘Raja Stores” in the year 1949. From a humble beginning the Raja Stores grown to multi location business chain across the region with great reputation. Mr. M R Chendilnathan took over the business as Chairman cum Managing Director in the year 1983 and established ‘RAJA AGENCY‘, which is into Production and Supply of Medical and Industrial Gas with a focus to venture into multiple segments of businesses. In the year 1963, the Group business spread its wings in the foray of Construction and Mr.M R Chendilnathan established the business as Real estate developer and successfully completed projects across Tamil Nadu. Till today VIJAY RAJA GROUP has constructed and Sold over 8733780 SQFT to 5732+ Happy Customers.
Now, Vijay Raja Group has 9 group companies and today employs more than 400+ people in direct payroll, in addition to the hundreds of contract labor staff within multiple business segments spread across Construction, Real Estate, Facilities Management, Healthcare and Hospitality. The group companies Year on year the Group creates 25% additional employment and continues to increase the satisfied customer base across all the operating business verticals.
